Blue Origin, founded by Jeff Bezos and based in Kent, Washington, flies two very different rockets. New Glenn is its heavy-lift orbital rocket, launching from LC-36 at Cape Canaveral in Florida. Its first stage is built to land on a ship at sea and fly again. Its customers include NASA, Amazon’s satellite network and commercial satellite operators.
New Shepard is a reusable suborbital rocket and capsule. It carries people and research payloads to the edge of space and back from Launch Site One in West Texas. The booster lands upright near the pad and the capsule returns under parachutes, and both fly again.
New Glenn launches can be seen along Florida’s Space Coast; see the Florida launch schedule for everything else flying from the Cape. Launch Site One in Texas is closed to the public, so New Shepard flights are best watched on the webcast.
