Kennedy Space Center and Cape Canaveral Space Force Station sit side by side on Florida's Atlantic coast, and together they are the heart of American spaceflight. NASA's Artemis missions, SpaceX crew and cargo flights to the International Space Station, Starlink, United Launch Alliance's Atlas V and Vulcan, and Blue Origin's New Glenn all launch from here.
Rockets head east over the ocean, so the whole coast from Titusville to Cocoa Beach and Melbourne has a view, and night launches can be seen far inland. Launch times move often: weather, range conflicts and technical holds can shift a launch by minutes or by days. This schedule updates as soon as the launch providers do, and every time is shown in your own time zone.
Popular public viewing spots include Space View Park on the Titusville waterfront, Jetty Park at Port Canaveral and Playalinda Beach in Canaveral National Seashore, which closes for some launches from the nearby pads. The Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex sells launch viewing tickets for some missions. To see where the rocket will be in your own sky, use the viewing planner.

Questions About Florida Launches
The next launch is at the top of this page, with a live countdown. Times are shown in your time zone and change here as soon as the launch provider updates them.
Night launches can be seen across much of Florida and, on some trajectories, from Georgia and the Carolinas. The viewing planner shows whether a launch will rise above your horizon and where to look.
When a Falcon booster flies back to land at the Cape instead of on a drone ship at sea, people across Brevard County can hear sonic booms a few minutes after liftoff. Each launch page says whether a landing back on land is planned.
No earlier than. The launch will not happen before this time and may happen later. The time firms up as launch day gets closer.
Each launch page links the official webcast as soon as it is announced, and shows it on the page when it starts.
Get the Space Launch Now app and follow Florida launches. You get a notification before liftoff, and another if the time changes.
